talkhealth nomination for a PMEA Award!
We are very excited to announce that we have been nominated for a PMEA (Pharmaceutical Market Europe Awards) in the Excellence in Patient Education and Support category for our patient support programmes.
The PMEA are organised by the PMGroup Worldwide, a highly respected publisher and business information provider based in the UK. Their portfolio includes industry publications Phamaceutical Market Europe (PME) Communique Directory and PMLIVE.COM, together with very successful awards programmes, such as the Communique Awards and the Quality in Care Programmes.
This year, talkhealth has been nominated for our Dry Skin Support Programme for Adults, which addresses the need for patients to be more proactive about their health through education with a tool designed to encourage self-care and management.
The programme, alongside all of our other ones, acts as an additional resource for patients, plugging the support and information gap that GPs are unable to fulfil due to appointment time constraints, thus lessening the burden on primary and secondary care.
We are rolling out our programmes across talkhealth medical and talkhealth partnership, through stakeholder partners, GP surgeries, NHS Trusts, government bodies and corporate organisations, and feedback so far from patients and caregivers has been extremely positive.
It’s an honour to be recognised for our work to help our community through our dedicated support programmes and we’re planning on launching more in 2019, including well-being and sleep.
If there is a condition that you feel would benefit from a support programme, then we would be very happy to chat with you about this so please get in touch.
