talkhealth collaborates with UK Health Coaches Association
We’re excited to announce that we are now collaborating with the UK Health Coaches Association (UKHCA) to offer our members additional, dedicated support for all aspects of their health and well-being.
Working with a health and wellness coach can benefit our members in a number of ways, by empowering them and enabling them to take back control of their own health. The (UKCHA) Directory of health coaches covers the whole of the UK and Ireland and is growing even further to help more and more people.
We are working with them in a number of ways to help our community:
Free UK Health Coach Call
We are offering a complimentary 30-minute call to a UK Health Coach to anyone currently registered or who have previously completed a support programme. Once registered, people can go to the UK Health Coach website and choose which coach they would like to talk to, based on their health requirements.
Collecting invaluable research by surveying our audience
We are hosting a survey on our talkhealth community website to ask our audience how they feel about managing their own health to gain an understanding of how and the UKHCA can support them further. As an incentive, the UKHCA is giving away 20 MOT sessions to offer to those randomly selected from completed surveys.
Monthly online Ask the Expert well-being sessions
Each month, we offer a range of Ask the Expert sessions, which run alongside our online clinics for a week. Within this time, people can log into our website and post their questions, which experts will then reply to by the end of the week.
A panel of UK Health Coaches will support our members by answering any questions relating to general health and well-being, on issues such as:
- Mental well-being
- Diet and gut-health
- Sleep issues
And many more topics that can help our members, including those with chronic conditions such as IBS and allergies.
