talkhealth wins Global 100 title for 3rd year in a row

talkhealth is delighted to have been crowned ‘Leading Online Social Healthcare Community of the Year – UK’ in this year’s official Global 100 listings.

We’re no strangers to the Global 100 network; in fact, this is the third year in a row that we’ve been awarded this particular accolade. 

In order to win a category, candidates have to receive no less than 21% of the votes from Global 100’s global readership (of nearly 300,000 people). We’re extremely grateful and proud to have our hard work so emphatically recognised. It’s great to know that our information and community are making a difference.

The Global 100 is a list of the world’s leading firms and individuals – as chosen by a global readership in over 160 countries around the world.

Its purpose is to provide people with a list of firms that are ‘truly leaders within their chosen areas of specialisation’. Because of that, the selection process is very specific.

After voting has closed, firms are then shortlisted during an ‘assessment stage’ (where companies are ranked on their domestic and international work) and then the final ‘judging stage’. At this point, an independent panel of judges reviews the votes within each category, looking at things like the complexity and strategic significance of their work.

talkhealth is all about helping patients to live their happiest and healthiest lives – connecting them with healthcare professionals and companies, as well as providing a safe space in which they can discuss things that impact them.
