talkhealth X Childs Farm: A new partnership
We are collaborating with Childs Farm to help young people living with eczema
There’s no doubt that you, or someone you know of, is living with eczema. However, lots of people aren’t always aware that the condition actually affects kids more than it does adults.
A review carried out by the American Journal of Managed Care investigated the global incidence of eczema. It found that 15% to 20% of children live with the condition in comparison to only 1% to 3% of adults.
Knowing this, we wanted to push expert knowledge about the health problem out there and give patients the actionable, everyday advice they need. The talkhealth myeczemachild support programme is specifically designed to educate young people about the things they (and their parents) can do at home to support better skin health.
The 12-week programme is packed full of actionable advice that covers topics like triggers, preparing for school and the itch-scratch-itch cycle. Once they sign up, the member or their parents will receive one or two PDFs a week via email. Each one focuses on teaching them how to deal with the chronic condition independently.
We are excited to announce that we are collaborating with Childs Farm, experts in children’s skin, on the support programme. Since the brand’s launch in 2012, it has been dedicated to soothing children’s sensitive skin and making bathtime fun. The award-winning British brand has helped thousands of little ones to stay happy in their skin.
Our members will be able to access loads of great products and opportunities. To celebrate the launch of our partnership, we are excited to offer 20 of our members who sign up to myeczemachild the chance to win a bundle of the brand’s new products. You can view the offer, here.
The OatDerma™ range is formulated to treat and soothe specific symptoms like dryness and itching – which makes it perfect for young people living with eczema. Of course, the products are dermatologically approved too!
You might have spotted Childs Farm on our site before, and for good reason. Last year, Dr Jennifer Crawley shared her expertise on all the things parents need to know about when it comes to their kids’ eczema.

At talkhealth, we love working with leading brands on our support programmes. Not only does it allow us to learn more about our members, but it also enables brands to increase engagement around their products and it provides opportunities for reviews and other market research.
Above all, we want to work with brands that have education at their heart. Support programmes are a great way to champion better patient knowledge and give your brand experts a platform. What’s not to love?
